Naturopathic Medicine is a health care system that is able to address all health concerns and goals, from general health promotion and disease prevention, acute infection (common cold/flu, gastrointestinal infections, UTIs, yeast infections), chronic concerns (headaches, skin issues like acne or eczema, menstrual imbalances, digestive disturbance, etc.), through to chronic degenerative diseases (cardiovascular disease, cancer, autoimmune disease, etc.).

The goal of a Naturopathic Doctor is to first uncover the root cause of illness, or why the concerns have presented. Each person is unique, as is the reason imbalance has occurred; it is the ND’s priority to understand this for each person in order to treat accordingly. Once the root is understood treatment follows, focusing on supporting the body’s natural physiological processes; the body will then rebalance itself and health will be restored.

Each patient is treated individually and holistically; symptoms are managed while the health of one’s body, mind and spirit are addressed to achieve deeper healing.
